Our course Working in Finnish Universities goes over the general employment terms of academics in Finnish universities. We start from the employment contract and finish with terminations.
Academics in Finnish universities are employees same as any employee employed in the private sector in Finland. In this course we tell you what that means. But we also talk about academic salary levels in Finland, and the particular regulations that govern, for example, academic working hours.

In this short mini-course we go over the content of a Finnish employment contract.
We talk about the principal terms included in a typical Finnish employment contract, why they are supposed to be there, and what those terms mean.

In this course, you will be introduced to a job search strategy we have developed for the Finnish job market. It is based on all that we know of its functioning. We have successfully taught this strategy in live traning sessions.
